ABOUT US

Founded in 1984 in New Zealand, Power Technology looks back on more than 35 years of experience in the distribution of electronic components. The biggest and brightest innovations are nothing without the right components. When Power Technology first opened its doors more than three decades ago, we were on a mission to source and supply the very best electrical components to help power up great Kiwi businesses.

Today, Power Technology is recognised as a leader in the field of solar power systems. Our solar power expertise stretches back 15 years and in that time we’ve seen cowboys come and go. We are proud to be recognised as one of the most reliable designers and suppliers of ready-made and customised solar solutions in New Zealand, allowing us to work on some of the most challenging and complex solar panel installations around the country. Furthermore, we specialise in OEM solar, batteries- and backup systems, UPS systems and, of course, electronic components. Every day, we help our clients achieve exceptional results through a dedication to good design and intelligent innovation.
