Team RAY Littin

Ray Littin

Dip. Marketing – Managing Director

Ray Littin is the CEO – Managing Director of Power Technology companies based in New Zealand, with offices in Jakarta and Toronto. Driving the strategic direction of the companies, he heads an enthusiastic team of professionals in the governance, operations, engineering, marketing and financial management in the group. The companies have specialised in OEM Electronics distribution for over 33 years, with renewable energy project engineering design and roll-out for over 20 years.

Prior to Power Technology, with a strong marketing background, Ray held executive positions in publishing, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, marine chemical products before founding a Cycle, Fitness and Leisure manufacturing and retail group, then later a marine construction enterprise with exports into Asia, Australia and USA.

Joined Power Technology from a multinational background in the UK, USA and South America. Toby brings valuable experience, as well as tertiary level training in International Business, Business Psychology and Finance, to a role where he is focused on building the company strategy for the future.

Hamish Littin

CTO – Director International Operations

Hamish has been a passionate solar advocate and active Industry participant for over 20 years. Graduating in Business Management, Business Redevelopment (AUT‐NZ), Marine Engineering and 500‐ton Captaincy (MIT‐NZ) with ongoing study in Electrical Engineering and Business, for his own personal interest.

Hamish brings experience in all facets of the design, supply, distribution and installation of power solutions including, transformers, diesel generation and backup power solutions to off grid, grid connected and battery backed/ grid connected renewable energy power plants comprising both wind and solar (PV‐D/ PV‐D Hybrids).

After completing 5 years as President and CEO of a Multinational Solar Company, where Hamish was responsible for startup in 2011, growing to Canada’s largest Solar Distribution Company by 2013, and one of its most successful EPC companies in 2014, to successful sale of the Company in 2015, Hamish rejoined Power Technology to assist in International business growth through Development and implementation.

With project experience to Net Metered and FIT clients including design, supply and support of the largest photovoltaic power plant in the South Pacific as at 2011, many Grid connected multi MW scale PV plants and some of the most remote off‐grid applications in the world ‐ Hamish and his team are here to assist you in the delivery of world class renewable energy solutions. Hamish’s personal goal is to ensure the utmost diligence in the design and delivery of uncompromising renewable energy solutions to our International clients – Today and for Tomorrow.

Dave Firth

Sales & Operations Manager – OEM and Renewable Energy

Dave has over 8 years’ experience in Sales and Operations. He worked for Power Technology before moving to the UK where he undertook targeted marketing management initiatives for Fitch Training in London. He has a passion for renewable energy and was part of the team that implemented the Genesis SchoolGen project for over 50 schools around New Zealand. He has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the ability to manage projects and build productive client relationships.

BEng-Electronics & Comms, Dip. Apps, Dip. BM – FAE – Applications and Design Support

Suresh finished his Bachelors from Anna University and Diploma in Internet Apps in India, then completed a Diploma in Business Management in NZ before joining Power Technology in Application and Design Support. He also performs site install coordination and servicing for Renewable Energy Technology and UPS’s.

Solar Schools Programme Manager

Maggie is a very experienced educational leader in New Zealand. She has been at the cutting edge of new programmes and is an experienced school principal in both the state and independent school sector. Over the last nine years Maggie has lead the development of the Schoolgen educational programme with a special package with Genesis Energy for schools with share funded solar panels. She now brings this experience to developing a new phase of creating a Solar programme for schools both in New Zealand and internationally with Power Technology ASEAN.

Customer Service & Supply Chain

Monique has been working at Power Technology since 2016.

She has 7 years experience in freight and customer service.

Her current role at Power Tech involves liaising with customers, suppliers and freight forwarders.
